How To Vote
Florida law requires that you vote in the precinct where you live. Your voter information card shows the precinct, polling place and voting districts for your address. If you move within the county, you must vote in your new precinct. Do not return to your old precinct.
If you have registered to vote but do not have your voter information card you can call the Supervisor of Elections office at (305) 292-3416 and they can tell you what precinct you live in and where your polling place is located.
Take your voter information card and some form of photo identification bearing your signature with you to the polling place. The law requires the poll worker to verify your signature before permitting you to vote. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on election day.
If you cannot go to the polls on election day, you may want to participate in early voting or you may be eligible to vote absentee. For more information on this process, please go to Voting Absentee or Early Voting.
